The day of the skulls - Skulls Day

As a result of the syncretism between Andean traditions and the Catholic religion, the feast of the “ñatitas” (skulls), previously clandestine, took place freely a few years ago in the General Cemetery of La Paz.
Every November 8, hundreds of people from the most disadvantaged classes in the city rush to laughter and devotion, skull in hands, to listen to one of the three masses celebrated on that occasion and to launch themselves onto the altar at the time of the blessing. ..
