The craziest thing about writing a short novel is realizing that some buyers—mostly "friends"—strangely act as if they don't see you on the street instead of greeting you as usual, and worse, some even cross the street to avoid you... It's enough to make you paranoid. I only know two people who enjoyed it as it was meant to be enjoyed: the publisher and the editor. And despite clarifying that it's fiction, it seems that dark humor doesn't go down well around here. F.... that.

Well, true, on the other hand, fiction is also a reflection of what one carries inside, whether it's nice things or not, dreams or nightmares, just another mirror. But it's not that big of a deal!
